Party Over Here & a Party Over There!
I know many of you from my mom's update list received the invitation to my cancer free celebration on August 23rd at her place in Laguna Beach. Just to let you know, we will be planning one here as well for my Ventura County friends and family. I am thinking about the 2nd of August. We are not sure where it will be but hopefully we will find a nice place to celebrate that is close for everyone here to travel and with enough space for all who attend.

A CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION!!!
First off, A BIG BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT TO MY BRO, JAMIN! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEST BIG BROTHER IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! Next, these pictures are not in any order. These are all the events that have occurred in my life since my last entry. Sorry it's taken so long. Besides a wonderful weekend away in Las Vegas, payed for by going to a time share presentation and all other costs payed for from generous family, friends, and strangers, (HUGE THANKS) I received the best Birthday gift I could ask for. I officially have my life back! I am in remission! My scans look good!!!
I took this picture of myself after I was given the good news.
MY SCANS LOOK GOOD!!!!
This is my Thank You, Thank You God, I couldn't have gotten through all of this without all of your love, support, and prayers, Thank you to my doctors and all the wonderful nurses who took care of me, I can't wait to give back to others, am I really cancer-free, It's a miracle, I am deeply grateful for everyone who stayed by my side whether literally or from a distance face.
We were going to ride Insanity at the top of the Stratosphere but right before we were about to get on they closed the ride due to high winds. That a bit scary, isn't it? If anyone hasn't ever seen this ride, you are in a bucket seat that gets tipped so you are facing down in the middle of the sky way high up and spinning around in a circle. It's kind of like those swings at carnivals only a thousand times scarier and in mid air.
Mom and I had an awesome lunch at the Beverly Center on Tuesday the 24th of June after my scans at Cedars. I had to fast since the night before so I was starving!
We participated in the Relay for life a few Saturdays ago at Moorpark High School. It was a really neat and memorable experience!
Eric's long time friend Richard Hales and his wife Nancy invited us to his parents cabin a few Friday's ago. We had a fun time!
Daddy kissing my forehead, Me smiling at the camera holding some beautiful flowers that Lisa Hardy gave me (she invited us all to be on our team. Thanks Lisa!), and Jamin looking at something, can you guess what it is? I can't. LOL

Quick Update for those who check this often!
Hey everyone!! Sorry it is taking me so long to do an update. Some of you know I started taking a guitar class at Moorpark College. It is 8-10:20 in the morning M-Th. It's actually not too bad getting up that early. The class is so much fun and I am learning so much!! I'm also taking an on-line class that will be going towards my Associates. The class is Child Health, Safety, and Nutrition and I just got my first test grade back, which I aced! Yay!! Eric and I are going away for our Birthday's this weekend. His was in May but he worked so we really didn't get to have a celebration for him except the get together with his family. Mine is on Sunday so I am very excited for the weekend! Thank you to any of you that sent Eric and I spending money for our trip! And thank you mom for the $$ and Birthday card and for having that idea! It will be very helpful!!! Well, I will do another update with pictures from our Vegas get-away. Until then, we can all pray that my Brain MRI and full body P.E.T. CT Scan on Tuesday shows once and for all that I am Cancer-Free!!
