Sweetest Candy Shel! I know I have not been the best at keeping in touch during all this. I am so grateful to your mom as well for all she did and for everyone who helped keep us updated with everything. I was able to feel like I was right there with you the whole time, though I know I was not doing my part to make you feel that I was there for you. Thanks for being such a bright spot in our lives even in your darkest moments. You are a blessing to us all! I love you!

I am a friend of Davianne Hughes, and you don't know me, but I found my way to your blog after she posted about you. I just wanted to tell you that you are stunning and inspiring and strong. Thank you for keeping a smile on your face throughout your ordeal. It can't have been easy. Best wishes for a total recovery!
